Cairo, Egypt, 21 October 2025: Innovo, an industry leader in construction and innovation across the built environment, has been awarded a contract worth EGP 2.2 billion by IMKAN Misr. Under the agreement, Innovo will deliver major residential and infrastructure works at the prestigious Alburouj master-planned community, one of East Cairo’s largest projects, which provides an integrated residential community located along the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road.
The works provide a significant boost for Egypt’s real estate sector and form a key component in the next phase of development at Alburouj, a destination designed to integrate cultural, educational, and commercial experiences.
As part of the contract’s scope, Innovo will construct 18 premium residential buildings with a combined built-up area of more than 80,000 sqm. The works will also include delivery of more than 20,500 sqm of landscaped public areas and 21,000 sqm of roadways. These developments strengthen IMKAN Misr’s ongoing role in shaping vibrant living experiences.
The 900-day project at Alburouj will provide fully finished residential units within a high-quality urban environment. It will include all substructure and superstructure concrete works, architectural and external finishes, as well as first-fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations.
Innovo will also deliver comprehensive landscaping, infrastructure networks, boundary fencing, and guard rooms equipped with gate barrier systems to ensure security and controlled access.
