URD – United Real Estate Developments has officially launched its latest coastal project, “Ladera Red Sea”, spanning 114 acres in Ras Sedr. The project enjoys a direct view of the Red Sea and features a unique architectural design, positioning it as one of Egypt’s most prominent emerging coastal destinations.
Mohamed Hafez El-Zaabalawi, Chairman of URD – United Real Estate Developments, stated that the launch of “Ladera Red Sea” comes at a time when the Red Sea coast is witnessing a strong urban and tourism boom. This has made it one of the most attractive destinations for clients over the past two years, thanks to the diversity of its developments and their high investment potential—value that has further increased following the Alam Al-Roum development deal.
He emphasized that Ras Sedr has become one of the most promising coastal cities due to its proximity to Cairo and the significant development of its road network and infrastructure. This has positioned it as the fastest-growing destination after Ain Sokhna and the Red Sea region, with rising demand for both seasonal residences and long-term investment opportunities.
El-Zaabalawi explained that “Ladera Red Sea” is built on an innovative development vision that aims to maximize the use of its waterfront location. The project ensures sea views from all units, while offering a high-quality tourism and residential product for clients seeking privacy, tranquility, and attractive investment value.
He added that “Ladera Red Sea” is a strong addition to URD’s expanding portfolio and reflects the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects with a distinctive architectural identity. This is driven by new client segments seeking destinations near Cairo with competitive prices, which strengthens the project’s prospects and makes it a cornerstone of URD’s expansion strategy.
He noted that the master plan of the project was developed in cooperation with Azure Planning & Architecture, led by Eng. Omar Aqeel and Eng. Islam Nabil, whose distinctive signature played a vital role in developing a master plan based on a comprehensive vision that ensures optimal utilization of sea views and the site’s natural elevations.
He added that the architectural design of the project follows a terraced concept, guaranteeing direct panoramic sea views from every unit, while leveraging the natural topography to enhance privacy and elevate the overall visual experience.
The project offers a diverse mix of units, all with direct sea or lagoon views, including hotel apartments, studios, chalets, cabins, and villas. It also features a signature beach zone named “La Vera Beach”, offering residents and visitors a fully integrated relaxation and leisure experience. The project is planned for delivery within four years.
The launch celebration matched the project’s scale, featuring performances by superstars Ramy Sabry and Ruby, and witnessed the attendance of numerous celebrities and public figures, including actors Karim Afifi and Sedky Sakhr, along with TV presenter Farah Ali.
