In continuation of the ongoing efforts to strengthen Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) recently sponsored the 15th edition of Kuwaiti Business Week in Egypt. The event was held under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egyptian Prime Minister and the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo, and was organized by Jabriya Exhibition Group, with the attendance of several ministers and diplomats from both countries.
The exhibition took place at the Nile Ritze Carlton hotel, hosting representatives from Kuwaiti public and private institutions, investment companies, and prominent figures from the Egyptian and Kuwaiti business communities. Attendees also included officials from ministries, governmental bodies, and companies from various sectors.
The Bank’s participation in this significant convention emphasizes its commitment to fostering stronger economic and cultural ties between Egypt and Kuwait. The event highlighted the achievements of operating in Egypt, showcasing the contributions of various entities to the economic growth of both countries.
It is worth mentioning that ABK-Egypt has achieved remarkable growth & strong financial performance in a nine-month period ended in September 2024. The Bank reported exceptional growth across all key financial indicators, recording a notable increase in Net Profit by 131%, reaching EGP 5.4 billion compared to EGP 2.3 billion in during the same period last year. Net Interest Income grew by 63% reaching EGP 4.7 billion compared to EGP 2.9 billion during the same period last year.
